A large kiva in Chetro Ketl. They were mainly for ceremonial use.

On the left is a round kiva built in a square room. Apparently Chaco is the only place where this was done.

Theatening Rock (which the builders proped up with logs) fell onto part of Pueblo Bonito when it was abandoned.

Within the remains you can see some to the logs that were used for roofs and shelves. 250,000+ logs were used in construction, some brought over 50 miles without horses.

Their rock work was amazing. Internal walls were plastered. A bit of that remains.
